Crested Tit

Roe buck fraying. We think there are 3 bucks in the wood at present (July 2020) and Rowan trees are always in the firing line during the early part of the year.

A solitary Sitka Spruce in the pine wood. It's quite a nice sight and something different.

Bare wet ground in the forest. There is some regeneration here but they will be susceptable to windblow when they get older.

Common Wintergreen. We found several clumps of this in a wet area of the wood

Grey Birch moth (Aethalura punctulata)  Birch is its main food plant and we have a lots of birch.
